Ice tea does not have to be sweetened or plain. You can enjoy homemade iced tea while enhancing it's flavor with almost anything. I made two quarts of iced tea using a quick and simple recipes.
Recipe #1 32 Ounces of Lavender Lemon Iced Tea In a pitcher, glass or plastic jar place: -1 stem of a Lavender Plant (I used a cutting from my garden) -1 Lemon ( half of a slice - you can alter to your preference) In a heat resistant bowl or jar: -Place 3 Lipton Black Tea Bags (or me if you want a stronger tea (in hot water) and set aside for 1 hour Combine ingredients Pour the tea into the pitcher glass or plastic jar with the stem of Lavender plant and half a slice of Lemon -Allow the mixture to cool and place in the refrigerator -Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours -Enjoy your unsweetened Lavender Lemon Iced Tea Recipe #2 32 Ounces of Orange Mint Lemon Iced Tea In a pitcher, glass or plastic jar place: -1 stem of a Orange Mint Plant (I used a cutting from my son's garden, but you can buy fresh mint from the store) -1 Lemon ( half of a slice - you can alter to your preference) In a heat resistant bowl or jar: -Place 3 Lipton Black Tea Bags (or me if you want a stronger tea (in hot water) and set aside for 1 hour Combine ingredients Pour the tea into the pitcher glass or plastic jar with the stem of Orange Mint plant and half a slice of Lemon -Allow the mixture to cool and place in the refrigerator -Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours -Enjoy your unsweetened Orange Lemon Iced Tea Please note: I did not use sugar, a sugar substitute or honey in these recipes.
